iNSD winner and my baseball star

iNSD has come and gone and you're probably still recovering from it, right? I hate to admit it but I didnt get to play this iNSD. Between Joey's baseball practice on Saturday and then his game on Sunday and also visiting my parents on Saturday and then catching up on some much needed sleep on Sunday I obviously had zero time to do anything. :D At least I got the chance to do the blog hop.

Speaking of baseball games, I FINALLY decided to bring the DLSR with the mega lense to his game instead of using my iPhone camera. The iPhone camera should come with clear instructions that state it is not intended to take good pictures of your son in the outfield while you're sitting in the stands. The DLSR captured some great shots worthy of digiscrapping (someday).

Some decent photos if you ask me! I don't bust out the DLSR too often but someday I'll learn how to use it properly.

Before I get Joey ready for bed I wanted to announce the winner of the iNSD $10 gift certificate to the House. Thanks to Random.org the winner is...

PAULA!!! Email me at jcarlisi5@gmail.com to get your gift certificate girly!

Thanks to everyone who commented on what your current organization tips are. There's some good stuff in there so if you're new to this I would definitely check them out.

We'll off to get Joey to bed!

Peace.

Hoppity hoppity hop: iNSD Design House Digital Blog Hop

First of all, let's not even talk about how long it's been since I last posted. ;) I envy all of you that can keep up regular content for your blog AND keep up with life. Koodos to you!

Though I don't get to digiscrap as much as I used to because the corporate world is sucking the life out of me, I don't want to lose touch with the scrapbooking world. I look forward to events like iNSD every year with al lof its goodies, so many challenges, so many events! At DHD we've got a lot of things going on this week it's crazy. I'm looking forward to using the iNSD collab kit because.it's.awesome. The Designers really outdid themselves this time with this kit.

Last weekend I got the chance to fly to Utah to meet up with some of the DHD Designers and Decorators for our annual retreat and crop. I had such a good time just hanging with some of the people I talk to frequently online. At the crop I was speaking to Kate, one of our customers who attended the crop. She was cute and amazing, BTW. As we talked the night away Kate mentioned how much my blog post on how to organize your digi kits in iPhoto helped her organize her own digi supplies. I felt so good about the ability to help fellow digi scrappers with the age old question of how to orgnize your digi supplies. So if you didn't catch the original blog post I've linked it up above.

I want to hear from you as to what your tips are for keeping your digi supplies organized. Submit a comment by Sunday, May 6th 3 pm PST to be entered into a drawing to receive a $10 DHD gift certificate!

I'm sure you've heard about the Layout Challenge that we're hosting, right? To entered into the drawing for a digital photo frame, you will need to complete a layout meeting all 26 of the challenges by Tuesday, May 8th at 11:59 MST. This means that you will need to do the complete blog hop to see what everyone else's challenge is in order to incorporate it into your own layout. My challenge to you is to layer 3 elements together. :)

Moving onwards... if you want to get our collab kit for free

make sure to snag this letter:

And if you can't read this it's an "eye".

SO now that we've discussed my organization tip, your challenge, and your letter to scoop up the kit for free, make sure to head over to Mary's blog to pick up your next letter and challenge! If you are just coming to my blog and you want to start at the beginning of the hop, go to the DHD blog post.

Peace.

Breathe + Breaking Dawn

Stuff is moved. Boxes (most of them) are unpacked. The new place is coming along just fine. Still need to personalize it some more, but I feel like it's home now. It's awesome.

In other news, I'm a little upset that I didn't update my blog on Breaking Dawn day, but that doesn't mean I wasn't thinking about it! Here's some highlights of my day.

I guess you can say I was excited. :D I'm going to see it for the second time tomorrow. Oh yeah. I plan on seeing it at least 4 times in the theatre... because I'm a die hard fan.

Before I sign off I have two announcements:

Until next time. Peace.

Operation: Stay warm

Hey you! It's me again. Can you believe it? LOL. I figured I doubled my subscribers these last few days- I better blog more!

Thanks to everyone that downloaded my quick page. I hope you'll link back to me when you decide to use it. :)

I didn't get a chance to celebrate this DSD which I'm bummed about, but there's always next year. I'm in the midst of moving so I'll be looking forward to when things slow down for me so I can get back into digi scrapping!

In the meantime, summer has come and gone! Literally overnight it seems. I don't like being cold at all, which is why i try to drink as much hot liquids during these cold months. Tonight at dinner I got to enjoy a huge cup of hot cocoa. Yum.

Till next time. Peace.
