Simple Scrapper September Blog Hop

Jeryn, here, coming to you with my first blog hop as a DT member on Simple Scrapper! I haven't been on the team long so I'm super stoked to dive right in.

Since I'm such a Simple Scrapper newbie and I technically don't have eye candy to share I wanted you to get to know be better for now. I started paper scrapbooking back in 2001 because I wanted to do something fun with my pictures instead of leaving them in albums. As we know, you don't really get the full story behind the pictures so when I found scrapbooking I.was.in.love.

I switched to digiscrapping in 2006, the year when my son was born. I got tired of cleaning up my mess and having piles of work in progress projects. I was hesitant about digital since it looked so flat to me- that was before I discovered shadowing! As soon as I found out that designers gave away supplies for FREE I knew I had to try it out. At that time I was supporting my family of 4 with one income so "free" was good for me. My first digi page happened to turn out decent for someone who has never used Photoshop in her life.

At that point I was pretty much hooked and have been digiscrapping ever since. I've been on a hybrid team and still love doing hybrid every now and then but digi is where my heart is now. A pile of paper, glue on my hands, and the thought of cleaning up does nothing when I can just shut my MacBook.

When I'm not digiscrapping you can find me on Facebook, at my favorite digi store chatting away, watching Bravo and HGTV shows, traveling, and being with my family. Unfortantely, I have a day job working for a small high-tech company in San Francisco managing the Human Resources and Administrative functions for the company. My job is very demanding! When I would love to be at home digiscrapping away and watching my favorite design shows I'm doing work instead. But not worries- I happen to love my job and the people that I work with.

I hope you've gotten to know me a bit better and will be a regular visitor to my blog! If you include a comment, include a link to your blog. I love to branch out and find interesting people. ;)
